01 Jul 24 - 09:39 AM (#4204761) Subject: Origins: Who was Sam From: GUEST,Sam Hiya, Heard an amusing song the other night whilst visiting a pub up in the Yorkshire Dales (Dent), whilst walking the Dales Way, didn't catch the title, but it was about a man called Sam, part of the chorus included the phrase Ow do are you diddling. Everyone in the pub seemed to know the chorus and joined in with great gusto. I wondered if anyone knew anything about the song and possibly who Sam was, was he a Dent Local? |
