In his typical ungracious manner he threw a hissy fit after his straight set victory over Rune yesterday because of some perceived "disrespect". He's probably the GOAT but I'll be glad when Novaxx exits the scene.

I watched the match the booing was unnecessary over the top and nasty and spoiled the match ,he played well as did Rune.
Lulu Sun in a surprise

They weren't booing, they were cheering "Ruuuuuune" whenever Rune did something positive. Clearly most of the crowd was pulling for the Dane but I'm not sure how Novaxx interpereted that as booing.

I watched it too and all I heard was "Ruuuuune".
I'm not sure why Novaxx is seeded 2nd when he hasn't won this year while the #3 seed, Alcaraz, was last year's champion and also won at Roland Garros this year. That puts he, Alcaraz, and #1 Skinner in the same draw so Novaxx won't have to play either one until the final. I guess the All England Club is trying to clear the way for him.

it sounded like boong to me at the time, so i think it is understandable that djokovic reacted like he did, i thought he was being booed when i watched
djokovic shook his hand etc so he was not being rude to Rune.
he misinderstood as i did, easy enough

if theyhad chanted holger it would not have been a problem.i am just watching sinner match and there is little chanting at all, which makes me suspicious that it was deliberate, in fact it made novak play better

Alcaraz takes the final in straight sets. Djokovic played well but he was pretty soundly beaten by this young man who is probably the best all-around player I've ever seen. He's got power and touch from both wings, a great service game and is fast as lightning and when he runs a ball down he still has the flexibility and strength to do something with it. It was a pleasure to watch him operate today, kind of like watching Simone Biles, Patrick Mahomes or Connor McDavid. You're forever asking "how the hell did they do that?" Oh, and it seems like he can hit an effective drop shot from anywhere on the court.

For the women it was one upset after another.
Nice to see the photographs of Princess Kate, however.
