28 Jan 00 - 09:39 AM (#169672) Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Lyle Lovette From: Gary T I'm sorry I don't know that one, but while we've got Lovett fans here, anyone have the words to "Cowboy Man"? (At least I think that's the title--"and I will rope her, across the prairie", or something like that, is one of the lines.) |

COUNTY (Lyle Lovett)^^ From: GUEST,emily rain at U Dub it's been a couple months since i last listened to this song, and i don't have access to the liner notes right now, so this is the best i can remember. i'll check my work tonight and add any corrections. god, i love this song. : )
L.A. County
She left Dallas for California
And the lights of L.A. County
Well one year later I left Houston
And I drove on through the hours
And the lights of L.A. County
And as she stood there at the altar
And they kissed each other and they turned around and
And the lights of L.A. County
And the lights of L.A. County

first 7 verses:
"and they kissed..."
last two verses: |
