Kick your shoes off in the corner mama
When you see that lantern swingin' yonder
Now you boys better get in tune
She came down from the Boston mountain
Now she's a diamond in the rough
She'll play all night if she feels like it
Well she stepped up and sawed one off
Now I think Grampa used to date her
Sis Draper is the Devil's daughter
Well she put her fiddle in a box
So we all stood out in the yard
Sis Draper is the Devil's daughter |

The version that I heard had Arkansas Traveler during the interludes, but with the verse having a tune. If anyone knows the tune to the verse, would love it, but otherwise, my speaking voice is certainly better than my singing! Gypsy |
