The subject is of very limited geographical interest, as I doubt that I would fly to Norfolk, VA, to see ANYBODY in concert. Also, as a relative newcomer, I'm not sure if it's appropriate to start threads which appear to be advertising. Is there a rule about this, either written or implied? As a neo-nerd, I've not seen anything one way or the other. Maybe I haven't looked enough, but is there such a thing as a Mudcat Rulebook, or is the only rule is that there are no rules? Now I don't know anything about Kenney Wayne Sheppard, except that he is a very young, and from what I've read very hot blues guitarist. I would hope that the Mudcat would not discount him based on his age. I've played with lots of folks 20-30 years my junior who are very impressive. If KWS were to play in my neck of the woods, I might just be grateful for the information. Even if it's against some imagined rule, PhishPhann1 is a guest who may just have the lyrics I need. I don't see it as a problem as long as it doesn't get out of hand. I suppose it is a matter of courtesy whether a stranger should be making such a posting.
