We would like to perform some of his music but I'm having great trouble finding information on him on the web. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get hold of some good stuff on him? If you could find a copy, you'd learn a lot about him. It was funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Washington, D.C. I have no idea how to obtain a copy though. DougR |

I think Lightnin' and Sleepy John must have been fishin' in the same honey-hole if you get my drift...! I have a really cool and very old Lightnin' album on an obscure label, all acoustic too.
