CDs under the title 'Southern Journey', containing pre-world -war-2 blues, country, gospel and folk. The first 6 CDs are already (said to be) available. Amongst other things, all the Prison Songs are also gonna be released later on 2 CDs. The whole collection is acompanied by a CD called 'The Alan Lomax Collection Sampler'. |

The first six plus the sampler are available now from Rounder Records, One Camp Street, Cambridge, MA 02140- 1194. The entire subscription is very reasonably priced at 130.00 -- 13 CD's + the sampler and includes shipping !! A great chance to pick up siome real good sound !! |
