Help: Mudcatters on CD

From: GUEST,dick greenhaus

I'm trying to keep track of Mudcatters (regulars or less-frequent visitors) who have CDs out, and what labels they're on. There are some that I know of--I can think of over a dozen offhand--but I'd like to know the rest.

Thanx much!

My father has one or two CD's, but none of them are for sale in big stores. You ask him, he'll make you one. Just specify what songs, or just say the 'Cat songs, and for a small fee, I'm sure he could rustle one up for ya!

I guess Dick have most of the CDs produced by Catter's, but it would be nice to have here an exhaustive list of their albums for those who don't really know them (I know that Rick Fielding, Art Thieme and other ones here had made some).

Hi- When the list is compiled, I'll try to set up a section of the Mudcat Shop where CDs can be ordered. It's sort of neat getting to hear what all these posters sound like.

Hi Dick. I have 8 CDs on my own label - Gransha Records - and a brand-new kids' CD just released last Friday called Seamus Kennedy Gets On Everybody's Nerves. All are available from songs.com. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do links, sound samples or any of that really advanced wizardry, so I can't help there. Al the best. Seamus

Capital idea, Dick.

My band, which does traditional & some contemporary music of Ireland, Scotland, and England, has three recordings out:

1. A Common Treasury (our first cassette)
2. Song of the Wage Slave (second cassette)
3. With the Friends I Love Best (CD)

All three recordings are available through me (my e-mail is listed at Mudcat Resources). Cassettes are $16 and CDs are $17 (this includes postage and handling).

I'm also currently recording a new CD of sea shanties and sea songs which will be ready in about four months.

To avoid confusion, please don't post any more messages here. Please post any additional messages on the Mudcatter CD's PermaThread. Eventually, I'll combine the information from these two threads. If you have a CD available for sale, please post a message on the other thread.
Thanks.
