My mother has been wanting for some time now a Roy Clark rendition of "Raggedy Ann" but I cannot determine what album it was featured on. Any assistance on this would be most greatfully appreciated.

The song Raggedy Ann was included in the 1969 album titled. "Yesterday When I Was Young". Be for warned not to purchased the resent release "Yesterday" that is being advertised as the original album. It is a greatest hits collection and one one song (Yesterday When I was Young) is included on it. Hope you find this helpful.

I don't have anything against 'elevator music'. Some of my favorite elevators have music, but...

The statemnt by a GUEST that the newer CD is not the old album is really true. It seems to be all Pop, perhaps re-issues. Here are the track lists:

1969 Dot LP

Side #1

1. Yesterday, When I Was Young

2. The Days Of Sand And Shovels

3. Raggedy Ann

4. Love Is Just A State Of Mind

5. When A Man Becomes A Man

6. A Simple Thing As Love

Side #2

1. September Song

2. Just Another Man

3. For The Life Of Me

4. April's Fool

5. Odds And Ends

6. The Tips Of My Fingers

RECENT CD WITH SAME TITLE:

1. If I Had to Do It All Over Again

2. The Tips of My Fingers

3. Something Average

4. I Never Picked Cotton

5. Yesterday When I Was Young

6. Thank God and Greyhound

7. Honeymoon Feeling

8. I'd Fall in Love Tonight

9. Come Live with Me

Wondering if this is the same "RAGGEDY ANN" that Little Jimmy Dickens did?

One well known country star, being the last to perform,
reportedly told the management,

Not to ever schedule him to follow "a midget dragging around a rag doll, again".
