MIDI Req: Streets of London

I know this may be an overasked question, but does anyone know where I can get a MIDI for "The Streets of London" by Ralph McTell? I don't have a recording of the song, so it makes it particulary tough to learn the song. I got the chorus, it's just the verse that's giving me the trouble! Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Mbo, if you check the bottom of the DT Lyrics, there is a Midi there. Is that one usable?

The song has been removed from the DT. Mbo, E-mail me. I have the music, and it would be easy to do a MIDI.

You've got to admit it's scandalous the way these buskers play it on the street all the time without a penny going to Ralph...

Have you seen the singer
with a broken down guitar,
standing in the gutter
while the people walk on by?
Singing that old song
about the Streets of London
and he hasn't got permission
to sing that song at all.
So how can they tell me I'm wealthy

and that I'm not in need of more?
I'll put the bill there in their hand,
and give them a receipt in London,
they all owe me something,
when they sing about the poor.

It is his living though- I think you'd have a job to find a more caring, less cynically money-minded person than Mr McTell.

It was there just now as well! Strange.

***EXTRA***

This is the same damn tune as the classic piece CANON by Pachelbel.

That's something that hit me a long while back and I was amazed they could make any waves at all about putting the tune on the web.

I can hear that one, but it doesn't sound like Pachelbel's Canon. ?????

Wow Art. I hadn't picked that one up before but the similarity is quite striking!

Intersting Mary - 2 different opinions - listen to the chord structure.

well...maybe...if I look at the staff view and only try to hear a chord at the beginning of each measure. Normally, I can hear similar chord progressions, but this one sure escaped me!

You'll find a reasonable MIDI with over full instrumentation at http://www.fostery95.freeserve.co.uk/streetsoflondon.mid

I have an excellent midi-karaoke file (met tekst) sequenced for me by Bunty Pritchard Jones. If you PM me with your e-mail address I will be more than happy to send it to you. It is playable with Van Basco or Jet Audio (both free programs).
