Irving Stone's Lust for Life was rejected by 17 publishers. Thor Heyerdahl's Kon Tiki was rejected by 20 publishers. The first Dr. Seuss book was rejected by 23 publishers. Watership Down was rejected by 43 publishers. Rejection, anyone? |

The Rock and Cactus Jack are right up there at the top. Watership Down made me want to go out and shoot bunnies. Must have been a bad time in my life. Jonathan Livingston Seagull, the movie, was great with the sound turned off. First of the "flying" movies.
