Anybody got tab/chords and lyrics for Bert Jansch's version of reynardine?

Are there any guitar sites dedicated to Bert, I have only discovered him fairly recently and would love to learn a lot of his stuff.

Chris

Try under the "R" Here is one version. I guess Bert is playing with a dropped E down to D.

REYNARDINE 2

One evening as I rambled, two miles below Permoy, I spied a pretty fair maiden, all on the mountain high. I said, "My pretty fair maiden, your beauty shines most clear, And on this lonesome mountain, I'm glad to meet you here."

Reynardine

One morning as I rambled
among the spring time
I overhers a young woman
converse with Reynardine

She said, my man p1ease be civil,
My company forsake ,
For to my good opinion
I fear you are a rake.

Oh no. my dear, J 8In no rake
Cast Out and made a thief
And I um searching for concea1ment
AlI from the judge's men
Her rosy cheeks nnd her ruby lips
They lost their bloom so fine ,
And she fell into his arms there
All among the mountain thyme

He kissed her once. and he kissed her twice
Till shc came to again
And modestly she begged him
Pray tell to me your name
He said. my dear if you look fo1r me
Perhaps you'll not me find
But I'll be in my castle
Pray enquire for Reynardine.

Oh day and night she followed him
Her eyes so bright, dear child
And he led her over the mountains
Did the sly, bold Reynardine .

Here's an alternate transcription that may clarify some parts. I found it at this Fairport Convention site.

REYNARDINE

One evening as I rambled
Among the leaves so green,
I overheard a young woman
Converse with Reynardine.

Her hair was black, her eyes were blue,
Her lips as red as wine,
And he smiled to gaze upon her,
Did that sly, bold Reynardine.

She said, ``Kind sir, be civil,
My company forsake,
For in my own opinion
I fear you are some rake.''

``Oh no,'' he said, ``no rake am I,
Brought up in Venus' train,
But I'm seeking for concealment
All along the lonesome plain.''

``Your beauty so enticed me,
I could not pass it by,
So it's with my gun I'll guard you
All on the mountains high.''

``And if by chance you should look for me,
Perhaps you'll not me find,
For I'll be in my castle,
Inquire for Reynardine.''

Sun and dark she followed him,
His teeth did brightly shine,
And he led her up a-the mountains,
Did that sly, bold Reynardine.

Here's my take on the tablature -- 15 years after you asked! Better late than never?
