25 May 00 - 10:55 AM (#233691) Subject: RE: BS: Hugh Grant-free at last From: GUEST,Mrr Can't resist. Bill Gates is following the coverage of Hugh Grant and the delectable Divine Brown, and asks Hugh up to set her up with him for a date. He does, and Bill and Divine have a rather athletic evening. Afterwards Bill, lying on his back, dreamily says Wow... I can see how you came up with the name Divine. Ms Brown answers Yes, and I can see how you came up with the name MicroSoft! |

25 May 00 - 03:25 PM (#233836) Subject: RE: BS: Hugh Grant-free at last From: GUEST,sian in wales I'm afraid he fits my description of a prat. The Englishman who went up the Hill etc was filmed in my family's part of Wales, and the way he behaved to some of the staff at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel made it to the local papers, and lives on among the *folk*. (Gosh - please someone write a ballad! The talent is there locally!) I was Production Co-ordinator for a film company which was Oscar nominated, so I'm pretty happy in my belief that film people don't have the right to be up-market yobs ... But you're right that it's great we don't all fancy the same types. I have two friends - one female hetro, one male gay - and they tend to fancy the same blokes. Can get slightly surrealistic ... 25 May 00 - 06:33 PM (#233914) Subject: RE: BS: Hugh Grant-free at last From: Rick Fielding If anyone's read the wonderful Richard E. Grant book "With Nails, and I", you'll get one heck of an insight into the behind the scenes personality of Hughie. Sounds like Divine Brown should have gotten "overtime pay". He sounds pretty obnoxious...but you don't get to be a movie star on "niceness" alone. Rick |
