A verse upon the separation of Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley

My heart is poundng
My head's awhirl
For Hugh has dumped the Hurley girl
So goodbye husband
Love I've found
Sod the job-

You'd better hurry. Foxie Brown may have already beat you to it.

What's wrong with me? I KNOW I'm female, and yet I find Hughie quite repulsive.

Don't fret Callie...you aren't the only one who finds him slightly more interesting than whatever's collecting behind the couch.

Oh. I thought, from the title, that we were cheering a Hugh-Grant-Free zone ... like GM-free. But I see it's turning into that. Good. What a prat.

I've gotta feeling that Ms Hurley is about to become the new Liz Taylor....tell me again, what is she famous for ? and quite frankly who gives a damn just as long as Kermit Jagger gets his loan.

Free at last? Was he bound and gagged when they caught him with what's-her-name in L.A.?

Can't resist.

Bill Gates is following the coverage of Hugh Grant and the delectable Divine Brown, and asks Hugh up to set her up with him for a date. He does, and Bill and Divine have a rather athletic evening. Afterwards Bill, lying on his back, dreamily says Wow... I can see how you came up with the name Divine. Ms Brown answers Yes, and I can see how you came up with the name MicroSoft!

Hugh a prat?-surely not-witty debonair and totally gorgeous, i think of him as a latterday cary grant. But then I don't think it would do for us all to share th same taste in men would it?

I'm afraid he fits my description of a prat. The Englishman who went up the Hill etc was filmed in my family's part of Wales, and the way he behaved to some of the staff at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel made it to the local papers, and lives on among the *folk*. (Gosh - please someone write a ballad! The talent is there locally!) I was Production Co-ordinator for a film company which was Oscar nominated, so I'm pretty happy in my belief that film people don't have the right to be up-market yobs ...

But you're right that it's great we don't all fancy the same types. I have two friends - one female hetro, one male gay - and they tend to fancy the same blokes. Can get slightly surrealistic ...

Pronounce Vyrnwy for me, can you? My guess is Firth.

If anyone's read the wonderful Richard E. Grant book "With Nails, and I", you'll get one heck of an insight into the behind the scenes personality of Hughie. Sounds like Divine Brown should have gotten "overtime pay". He sounds pretty obnoxious...but you don't get to be a movie star on "niceness" alone.

Oh, I won't worry about Divine Brown, she's probably going to be getting plenty of business from him now.

Hugh Grant cannot hold a candle to Harvey Keitel. 'Nuff said.

Embo you're revolting. By the way do you know about King Edward the second?

When I first encountered the name of the English band "Edward the second, and the Red Hot Polkas", I thought I'd die laughing!

I managed to convince my sister that Hugh and Richard E were brothers. After a while, she bought it. Then I got to laugh at her. I'm sorry, sis. It was all in good fun.

Hugh is cute and all but I would have dumped him after the prostitute incident. No telling what he brought home!

I like Harvey Keitel well enough but not well enough to want to see him in his full monty.
