Den was asking about the Dalesman's Litany that I sung and the Chrity Moore recording I had.

The LP is called Christy Moore, polydor 2383 426 also on cassette 3170426.

It is an album I love. The track listing is:

The Dalesman's Litany
Galtee Mountain Boy
Little Musgrave
Wave up to the Shore
Nancy Spain
Lannigans Ball
Johnny Jump Up
Scariff Martyrs
Limerick Rake
Boys of Mullabawn
Sacco & Vanzetti

I sang a while ago (before I had to go eat) She Sang of Old Ballinderry.

This Hearme stuff is pretty fun.

Hi Animetarra,

Wow! I'm new to all this having only acquired this pc a couple of weeks ago. I've used mudcat before just to look up lyrics and stuff but this is the first time I've read through all (well not quite all) the threads. I've been reading for hours.

Caitrin, click on the blue clicky thing at Alison's post right at the top of this page. When the Hearme page comes up click at the Song Circle and we'll have a chat!

Tried clicking on song circle but nothing happened. I think I might need a microphone - or do I? My newness to all this is showing I fear. Are you still there?

There's a bunch of us- try again- you don't need a mic to chat and listen!

Andy - first of all, have you downloaded the HearMe software? Secondly, when you clicked on the link, did you then click on song circle (sometimes I find I have to do this twice, if the page hasnt loaded properly first time. What you should see is a pop up window, which will just be blank grey at first, until you are connected.

Oh, youre not using a Mac are you, I think it doesnt work on macs.

Other than that, I can't be much help.
