Excuse me, is this another Sufi thread, or something Zen related? If Bill and Earl Bolick sing "Knoxville Girl" in a forest will there be any sound?

Or is someone just trying to get rid of Conrad Bladey's "Orange Marchers" thread.

Either way, it's very peaceful here.

Rick

Does this help? click here If you search by titles at that link, you may find some of them here in the Digital Tradition database.

Reposted for Mike, who managed to find one of the extra threads.

Hey,

I own 8 Blue Sky Boy albums including most of their Bluebird material. If there's a song you would like the words to, ask. I'd be doing this off the records, so I wouldn't have time to do more than a couple.

Mike

Ha! here's a rival for my BSB collection, but I bet Stewie has more than either of us. I love the music and other stuff at YOUR WEBSITE. I've been listening to it for quite a while. When do we get some new real audio?? (Link provided for the other readers, I suspect Mike already knows how to get there)

Mike, welcome to the Mudcat ~~ I will repost your info in the main thread, this one is among several extras that got in here somehow.

Oh, and I'd be glad to chip in with a couple. Just let me know your wants, stumd3

I might have thought I started this as I've been hunting down some bluesky lyrics. I did figure out "Sunny Side". The Delnero Family website is quite good. I have the impression that one of them is a catter. Is that right? Seeing all those lovely instruments next to the 30's sedans brought a tear to my eye.

Thanks for the compliments on the page. It was my father's page, though he passed away last April. The cars were a '36 Chevy and '38 Dodge. The guitar was a 1957 Martin D-18 which I sold in 1977 for $225 ... UGH! Mike

Hello Mike, sorry to learn that your father is no longer with us and is in the heavenly band. I have always enjoyed the lines of the 30's automobiles. Someday. Maybe. That being your father's website, I guess it was he that was interested in the old Gibson mandolins. I also share that interest. My D-18 ain't that old. And in a desperate effort to get back to the subject, you say you know some Blue Sky Boys songs?

I found a CD. The Blue Sky Boys In Concert 1964. Get it. It has some material I've never heard and being live, its a fine window to how they performed thats hard to get from studio recordings. So, has anyone been able to dig up any lyrics?
