I don't think I'll be able to convince my guitar player to use a capo, though... He's classically trained, has a music degree, and is super snobby about it, absolutely REFUSES to use a capo, says it's beneath him. He'll just have to transpose it by ear... I suspect Jeremiah Mc Caw above is about on the right track. My problem is I am lazy, I don't read music. I need to know the chord shapes she is using and the chord they represent. I suspect alinact above has the right idea chord-wise. I have tried googling for chords for Ready for the Storm, but no one seems to be addressing the obvious open tuning. The lyrics work just as well either way. I'm just wondering if either one is considered the "preferred" version. |
