It will be at the Hyde Street Pier on Fisherman's Wharf. There'll be traditional music, demonstrations of sailors work, crafts for kids, food, boatbuilding, and many other activities. Mudcatters Dave Swan (with Oak, Ash and Thorn), radriano, riggy, winters wages, and many other West Coast musicians and dance groups will be performing. Admission is free. I unfortunately only made it out on Sunday (and I had to ditch out on another event I was supposed to be at in order to make it). There were wonderful shanteymen and women, some great bands, a great book sale, and demonstrators for various nautical crafts and trades... Highly recommended! You could make a million hiring yourself out to the police department for crowd control, could open a restaurant called "The Gas Station" - think of the possibilities.
