Her band was outstanding. Anyhow, she did this song I've heard a few times but cannot locate. A real moody and threatening blues/ rocker with the refrain "water from the deep blue well." Help? |

I love Emmylou and I heard her do "Deeper Well" at a Lilith Fair concert and felt it was much better live. He appeared with her on a "Sessions at W. 54th" on PBS and was thoroughly enjoyable, but what comes out on the albums seems like too much screwing around with a good thing. Just my opinion. Spaw |

Reissued by Rounder on CD in 1991 (CD PH 1117). It has some tasty fiddle backing by Mark O'Connor. Beaut album that also has Olney's lovely 'Women Across the River'. --Stewie. |
