Lyr/Chords Req: School Project

Hey guys... We're reading Macbeth in English class and, since my group and I are focusing on the song and dance of the Italian and English renaissances, I was hoping you guys might know of some songs that we could play and perform in class. We have a bass and a guitar for instruments and lyrics aren't necessary since we'll probably make them up anyway. I just need a nice, simple song that would represent the time period and entertain a bunch of tenth graders. Please email me with any suggestions. Thank you!!

might you not be better off with a recorder and a lute? Any of Carolans stuff he was greatly influenced by the Italian composes of the time, but put a lot of stuff into a simple format.ie 4 bars repeted than another 4 repeted.

Try looking for the Playford Dances also.
