07 Nov 00 - 06:56 PM (#336269) Subject: Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie 'Together' From: GUEST,emily rain hey folks and folkies i knew when i stopped logging on regularly that someday i would come crawling back to you begging for help... my parents used to have a double lp of live performances by pete seeger and arlo guthrie called "together", and man it was awesome. contained golden vanity, sweet rosey-anne, lonesome valley, city of new orleans, guantanamera, etc. i've just done a pretty thorough search of cdnow.com, amazon.com, and barnesandnoble.com, and it doesn't seem to be available. do any of you know if this album was released on cd? does anyone know if it's currently being released on cassette? does anyone have an old copy they never listen to anymore or have a dub that's in better condition anyway and would be willing to sell? does anyone know if this album can be found in the black hole of calcutta for 236.95 USD and one's firstborn male child? |
