Bedworth is always a good celebration and sets Christmas up nicely. There is a singaround on Friday night and I will be hosting the final fling club session at The White Swan on Sunday night. From: RoyH (Burl) the posting from Jeff mentioning his partner Benny Graham gives me the chance to say again my opinion that Benny is the most unrecognised, underrated, singer in the UK, and has been so for many years. He has a great voice and he can handle any tempo or mood of song with ease. He is not flashy but sings like a true folksinger, expressing the melody clearly and giving the words their full worth, qualities that many a more publicised singer lacks.Go to Bedworth and hear for yourself. Then put your opinion on Mudcat. BTW-Jeff's not bad either. |
