I'm looking for the lyrics of two songs performed by The Dreadful Snakes on your LP "Snakes Alive: "Who's that knockin' at my door" (Pat Enright). "Linda Lou" (Bill Monroe). Can you help me? Many tanks, Franco Rosso

Here is A VERSION of LINDA LOU!

LINDA LOU
As recorded by Hank Snow

Linda Lou
Honest, True
I'm just wild about your lovely eyes of blue
For your smile, I'd walk miles
For my honeychild I'm glad to be with you
As long as you are by my side
I have no thoughts of time
I point you out with so much pride
And tell the world you're mine

Linda Lou
Honest, True
I'm in love with you alone
Sweet Linda Lou

I've waited a long for you, darlin'
But never knew exactly what you'd be
Now that you have come to me, my darlin'
You're a wee bit of heaven to me

Linda Lou
Honest, True
You're the first in every thought I have each day
You're so sweet and so neat
That I thank the Lord for sendin' you my way

Someday you'll know the way I feel
Deep down within your heart
To be with you when shadows steal
And know we'll never part

Linda Lou
Honest, True
I'm in love with you alone
Sweet Linda Lou

WHO'S THAT KNOCKIN' AT MY DOOR?
Pat Enright

CHO: Who's that knockin' at my door?
Have I heard that knock before?
Is it evil tryin' to get into my room?
Who's that tappin' at my window?
Who's callin' me to go
To a place that's filled with dark and gloom?

Oh, this life that I'm livin',
It seems so unforgivin'.
I find trouble everywhere that I go.
I always seek it first
Just to quench my burnin' thirst
In waters that are cool as fallin' snow.

But the waters are oh so deep.
What you sow you must reap.
Now I hear her knockin' at my door.
It's evil standin' outside.
There's no place to run and hide.
Clutched my soul and pressed my to the floor.

Oh, I've been down that pathway.
It always leads the wrong way,
But this time I don't think I'll be back.
It's like a freight train pullin' me.
There's a dark tunnel ahead, I see.
This train's goin' down a one-way track.

I have the Dreadful Snakes on a compilation CD. Who was in the band?
