Looking for words of Ron Kavana's song, Midnight on the water, and any info on this song.

There are several sets of lyrics that people have set to this tune, and I have to admit that I don't much care for any of them.  However, people do ask about them quite regularly here.  A good tip is to use the "Digitrad and Forum Search" prominently displayed on the main Forum page; typing in midnight on the water will find you a whole host of previous discussions, including the lyrics you are looking for, which have been posted here at least twice, for example at: Lyr Req: Midnight on Water

I've added this thread to the other two in the notes for my Waterson:Carthy Midnight on the Water page.

I'm still not sure what Norma sings where other sets have "Stay up till the morning...". It sounds like "Good luck in the morning" ... but is "The lark in the morning ..." possible?
