With a really bad local news feed, I've counted on Deja.com for my newsreading for ages. Deja is gone, at least temporarily & right now I don't know what I'll do to keep up. |

Deja had gotten pretty hard to navigate but yesterday I could not find how to get to a specific group in Google. I found it earlier today, but at that point the group I wanted to read had nothing newer than 2 days ago. I just checked and I see some messages from today, so I think I just hit as they are getting going. I wonder if they'll allow posting messages. Right now all one can do is read. Whilst posting isn't yet available, it's muchimproved and they have provided a list of web based usenet providers Despite the short term inconvenience, I reckon Google's takeover is going to be great news in the long term.
