Hi, Frugz.......

I don't know about Eva Clifford's, but here's my version. Nice chords, the highlight being that G+ at the end of the bridge, which really finishes off the song. I learned that one from an old Ukelele Ike songbook.

Over The Rainbow - "The Wizard of Oz"
Lyrics by E.H. (Yip) Harburg, music by Harold Arlen
1939

When all the world is a hopeless jumble,
And the raindrops tumble all around,
Heaven opens a magic lane.
When all the clouds darken up the skyway,
There's a rainbow highway to be found,
Leading from your window pane
To a place behind the sun,
Just a step beyond the rain.

[C]Some-[Am]where [Em]over the [C7]rainbow, [F]'way up [C]high, [C7]
[F]There's [Fm]a [C]land that I [A7]heard of [D7]once in a [G7]lulla-[C]by, [G7]
[C]Some-[Am]where, [Em]over the [C7]rainbow, [F]skies are [C]blue, [C7]
[F]And [Fm]the [C]dreams that you [A7]dare to dream really [G7]do come [C]true.

    Some [C]day I'll wish upon a star
    And [Dm7]wake up where the [G7]clouds are far be-[C]hind me, [Dm7] [G7]
Where [C]troubles melt like lemon drops,
    [Cdim]Away above the chimney tops,
    That's [G7]where [Cdim]you'll [Dm7]find [G+]me.

[C]Some-[Am]where, [Em]over the [C7]rainbow, [F]bluebirds [C]fly, [C7]
[F]Birds [Fm]fly [C]over the [A7]rainbow, [D7]why, then, oh, [G7]why can't [C]I?

If [C]all those little bluebirds fly
    [F]Beyond the rainbow....
    [Dm7]Why, oh, [G]why, [G7]can't [C]I?

A G+ (G Augmented) can be played by adding an Eb (forth string) to a standard G chord.

However, that chord takes a lot of work and I think it sounds nicer and it's a lot easier to just play the top four strings (1-G 2-open 3-open 4-Eb), especially when coming out of Dm7.

Eva cassidy plays her version in straight tuning, no capo, and begins in G.
