I'm with Spaw on this one till I learn to control the bubble bath in my new jaccuzi. Otherwise it's whatever is playing on my CD player in the bathroom.

You have a CD player in the bathroom? I usually provide my own music. Usually it's something loud and anthemic, either from a musical, or whatever's in my head. Last night it was "Turn" by Travis.

I'm not even going there Spaw. I refuse to try that in my new house. Finally got the bathroom of my dreams and you're giving me ideas on how to blow the danged thing up.

Yes Matt, I have a PC in there too for when I want to play around on Pal Talk while watching the bubbles climb the wall.

I don't. If I do, they bang on the walls until the plaster comes off the ceiling. Besides, I never know all the words anyway. It's difficult to tape lyrics to the shower walls..........

Our own Alice is renowned for learning new lyrics in the shower........REALLY!! And she uses thermafax paper which sticks to the walls. I can't find her original post on this, but TRY THIS ONE.

I occasionally sing dreadful things in the shower, such as "Don't You Let My Heart Know That You're Leaving". Or Christmas carols in August.

I sing 'Dream a Little Dream' (you know the one: "Stars shining bright aboooooove yooooooou...."!)

Yes, I have it down to an artform. Run your lyrics sheet through a fax machine that prints on thermal paper. Although it will fade in sunlight, it will last for months taped to your shower/bath wall. Trust me, I still have layers of wrinkled but still legible lyrics sheets going back to Christmas carols in December. Although it gets moist, the printing will not dissolve like regular ink. I usually sing whatever I'm currently learning, and anything else that feels good.

Is there anything modern technology can't do? LOL, this is great.......just wait til they find out about this!! Plaster will be falling in great hunks!! (I sing out of tune, off key, change keys........whoooeee, I can really drive 'em nutso now!!) I guess I could cover them in Saran wrap too, huh?

I sometimes sing "I just dont look good naked anymore" I've reached that age when I get out of the shower, I'm GLAD the mirror is steamed up!

Matt, I only need the paper for what I'm trying to learn, not for the ones I already know! The shower is one of the few places I can retreat to. Once you are a mom, your life is not your own.

ahh, Kendall, LOL, aren't most of us there? I know I am......and it's not even really "fat".....just saggy, baggy, wrinkly, gravitational flow........I remember my mother telling my daughter...."I had a pretty body once, too, a long time ago".......that's me, now.

but, Kendall, we've seen the pics..........if I were you, I would be very afraid of a shower without steamed mirrors...as am I. "Everything I say is a lie......." (including the fact that I say I lie........)

'Oh I wish I was a little bar of Soap"....or "Oklahoma" if I'm shaving my legs...don't know why, just always have...

Usually it's this one:

"If I've got more than my share
Of the burdens, I don't care
'Cause I've got more than my share of love
And when I'm weary and I can't rest
I remember I've been blessed
'Cause I've got more than my share of love
I thank my family, I thank my friends
Sing hallelujah and say amen
'Cause I got more than my share of love"

Oh. Now we understand (Angie explained it) what you mean. There's a waterfall in the back of the cave. When we feel itchy we go stand under it for a while.
We don't sing. The water is so cold that it takes our breath away.
When we get out, we sing songs like "You're Always Welcome At Our House".
In harmony.

Normally,(when not showering) I prefer folk songs, but when I'm in the shower I somehow switch to "lounge lizard" tunes like; "That's Why The Lady Is A Tramp", Volare, "Mack The Knife" or various Gershwin hits.

I suspect in some former life I wore a little tweed fedora like "Ol' Blue Eyes".......

Look out ol' Macky is back!
