Can anybody tell me where I can get the chords (found lyrics now!) for 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore' by the Walker Brothers? My friend really wants them. I told her you were a helpful and knowledgeable bunch.
DON'T MAKE A LIAR OUTTA ME!!!!
Thanks,
Tigger

I guess none of you like The Walker Brothers, then. The trouble is, I've become involved now. I started out helping my friend, and now I care. They had some sad songs.
God bless Bacharach and David!!

"Make It Easy on Yourself" scroll past the header. From Olga.

Found one other set of lyrics, but you said you had those. That's the only tab/chords I could find.....sorry. Found lots of albums for sale sites, tho.

Thanks, Sorcha. Still lookin' myself. Doesn't look as though we're gonna find it on the web.
Aaah, never say never!!

I'm sitting here, scratching my head. Maybe I missed something somewhere. What was missing from the Olga page that Sorcha found? It has both the lyrics and the chords.

Maybe I need to have another cuppa coffee and come back and look again.

Allan, it was a Walker Bros. song, but not the one requested. I posted it because it was the ONLY Walker Bros I could find on the web. (Good Morning!)

Hoo boy! It's been a long time since I heard this one, but I do have it on an LP. I could probably work out a chord sequence, but I'd have to find it and listen a bit first. Bear with me as it may take a few days.

Well, it's not the same as listening to the record and making sure I've got it right, but I let the old memory cells do their thing while I tried strumming along. This should at least be close.

  Verse:
D G
Loneliness is the cloak you wear
D G
A deep shade of blue is always there
D A
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
A D
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
D G
The tears are always clouding your ey-eyes
A D
When you're without love...ba-a-a-a-by

Bridge:
E A E A
Lonely, without you, baby
E A
Girl, I need you
A
I can't go o-o-o-o-on
D G
The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
ETC.

Yep, after a couple of cups of coffee, I came to realize that they were different songs. I have always liked them both but especially the one you posted, Sorcha. I just about played the grooves off of the Walker Bros. LP I used to have. Always felt they could have been bigger for longer.

Ooooops!!
I meant Gary T, NOT that I'm suggesting Allan isn't clever, I was just in a hurry 'cos I was using the computer at work.
Thanks a million.
As a newbie, my faith in you 'catters grows each week!
