From: Country Bob I was listening to some old Gordon Lightfoot and had forgotten how sweet Bruce Langhorn's guitar parts were, so I put on an old Joan Baez album of Dylan songs and listened to some more of his fluid fills. I know he hung out with Dylan in the Village and backed him on the soundtrack to "Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid", but I haven't heard any of his work since then. Anyone heard anything new from him? I'm going to have to dig through some vinyl--did he back Odetta on her "Odetta sings Dylan"? -- that's a fabulous record, with a few tunes Bob never recorded himself. Dennis Wood |
