BS: Seeking Mudcat Calender???

17 Apr 01 - 10:57 AM (#442496)
Subject: Seeking Mudcat Calender???
From: Micca

They seek it here,
They seek it there,
Those catters seek it every where
Is it in heaven? is it in hell?
That dammed elusive, Mudcat Calender

come on Max, stop drooling in private and tell us where to send the money so we can all get a look..

Just fixed that "Guest" thing; it appears that I've been gone so long that my cookie had "expired". And I missed the funeral!
So, what's this about a calendar; is it an in-joke that I've missed, or is there actually a calendar that someone has put out?

put "calendar" into the filter box and set it for 180 days. that should give you most of the scope...

It is an actual calendar. The first ever semi nude Mudcat Calendar.....Old ancient Jiggles (Alison) compiled it....that is when she didn't get all sweaty looking at my pic.....

Sinsull..."I got mine?"...what's your secret? You drive over to Max's place and ply him with beer?

Nice to see that you're still around! I really like the MudCat turnover rate... it's slow.

Well, sins, you sure know how to make a man blush.....So spill the beans...how did you get ahold of a copy already? Or are you just trying to make every one else jealous?

I must finally be a member of the inner clique. Actually, Max included it with the VCR tape I bought on the auction. You are all in for a treat. BillD is kind of cute too. Oh - there are some women too. And Joe Offer in ... well wait and see.

Ahhhh I see, and so you decide to come over here and rub everyone's nose in it...It must be nice to be the first kid on the block to own the calendar...*BG*

No. I have no intention of allowing anyone to rub his or her nose in MY calendar. Someday they will have their own and can do what they please with it. This is a first for me - I always buy the latest gimic at the half-price sale when the whole world has several and is already bored with it. Pet Rocks, Rubic's Cube, etc. I still don't own one of those singing fish. But I do have the most amazing picture of Micca sans everything but a bohdran...or is it a banjo? I will have to go look.

On the radio max said to send him an e-mail at max@mudcat.org Ask him to send you the calendar & he'll e-mail it to you in Adobe format. $10

Did he say how to pay? I think he takes credit cards. What if I don't have A4 paper?

get something close to A4... whatever you use in the US...

can I just please ask that when you do get them... you don't forward them.. otherwise we defeat the purpose of using it as a fund- raiser.....

thanks

I wonder if someone more computer knowledgeable than I am could answer this one for me.

It appears that I won't be able to view the calendar on my computer. My acrobat reader isn't working. I won't be able to print it out, either, because I don't have a color printer.

Would it be possible for me to download the calendar onto floppies without the acrobat reader and take it to a copy place to have it printed out?

It sounds like you might get more takers (buyers) if there was a way to pre-print it and mail it out (adding whatever necessary costs would have to be added, of course). Most calendars in the stores sell for way more then ten bucks...

Subject: RE: BS: Seeking Mudcat Calender???
From: alison

I think that's what Max was hinting at.....

there is no point in me printing anything up all the way over here.. and mailing it across....... my thoughts were that if anyone over there had access to a printer and was willing to print out for people local to them... and charge for costs.... that might be a way to sort it......

good thought Alison. I do not have such access (not anymore sadly) or I would offer to do it myself...
