There are versions of it in the books "Ceolta Gael" and "Abair Amhrán". They both have the same two verses. Can any one offer background on this song, its author, any history around it, possibly any extra verses? I'll add the words I have later. Brían. |

The original edition is out of print, but there seem to be reprints of some volumes available through Amazon and others. Bold, italics and so on are the result of html tags, which you also need for posting lyrics here. If you right-click on the page and select "view source", you'll see the underlying code that makes the page look the way it does.
