Regarding the traditional shanties, I do one called "Fire Down Below," which I learned from the Johnson Girls' wonderful CD. There is another shanty of the same name. It's in Hugill, I believe, and also in the DT. The two shanties appear to be unrelated, except for the name. Rosselson sure writes some good 'uns! |
