06 Jun 01 - 05:00 PM (#477824) Subject: Is there folk in Chester? From: Arnie I'm visiting Chester this summer. There used to be a folk club near the railway station, then I heard that it had moved away. Do any Cestrians know where the club is now (if it still exists) and what night is it on?? |

Hope to get there over the summer - hope they've got something to sup besides Greenall Whitley!! |

From: Dave the Gnome There are 2 festivals a year around Chester - both past for this year unfortunately - one in February at (I think) Hoole community centre and one in May at the Morris Dancer in Kelsall. If anyone has an old leaflet it will have a contact number - maybe the festival organisers will know? I will see if I can find anything over the weekend. Cheers Dave |
