Does anyone have the rest of the lyrics for this song or know the artist? It has to have these words in the lyrics: Standing At The Crossroads F A I'm standing at the crossroads B F I'll go the way the wind blows F C How I love you, dear, you'll never know F A I'm asking for the last time B F For you to be mine F B Standing at the crossroads C F Which way shall I go

Thanks, Cookie

Cookie

Unfortunately there are a lot of songs with this name, it seems to be a common blues theme.

I've found songs by Elmore James, Mickey Jupp, Eric Clapton. None are your one. The Supremes seem also to have sung a song by that name, for which I haven't found the words.

Sorry!

The man said it was a very old song so I don't think it was any of them. Just thought I would try here. I don't know where else to look for the real oldies.

Thanks everyone, Cookie

those are *almost* the lyrics of a song from the Dr. Doolittle movie - the old one.

CROSSROADS
(Donn Reynolds - © 1962)

I'm standing at the crossroads.
I'll go the way the wind blows.
What you say will show the way to me.
I'm asking for the last time
For you to say you'll be mine.
Your answer, dear, will make it plain to see.

And if you say we're through,
Then I'll stop loving you,
For I know that I'll find someone
Who'll bring me piece of mind.

So please say yes or no, dear.
That's all I want to know, dear.
Standing at the crossroads,
Which way do I go?

(Instrumental Break)

So please say yes or no, dear.
That's all I want to know, dear.
Standing at the crossroads,
Which way do I go?
