Russian music to UK

Right, here's hoping someone out there can help! There's a folk group I've made friends with in my time in Russia, 6 girls singing traditional Russian folk songs. They're really knowledgable, and have told me lots about that rituals and traditions that go with certain songs or festivals. The thing is, they'd really love to come to the UK on some kind of exchange - ie they fly here and stay with families, then someone from that family flies back to Russia and stays with them - because they can probably manage the cash for the flight, but certainly can't afford much else. I said I'd ask around, because I think they're hoping for an organised group, and all I know is the people I see in the pub....
So basically, does anyone know of a smallish youth folk group in the UK that would be interested in this kind of exchange? Many thanks, jayohjo in Russia XXXX

Speak to Ian Stephenson and Sam Pirt...they're really the best people on this subject.

I know there are a lot of youth musicians around our area but we don't form a group as such. At the Jug there's me, Ian and Sam, and Firecat occasionally.

But as you know Ian and Sam are in the PACK a huge 12 piece youth folk band who are very good and play a mishmash of world folk music....

Hope this is of some help
