Could be the server. I go in through LOKI.MUDCAT.ORG now and it's faster than fast. I never use WWW.MUDCAT.ORG anymore......try it!

Yeah, I've got the same problem. And when I do get in, I get a partial listing of threads and an error message box. I've been able to pull up only a couple of threads, and even then, only the first dozen or so postings. Looks like we're feelin' poorly today.

Funny, I had all the problems you're all describing but once I logged in to loki, I was fine.....wait a minute, shouldn't brag, the internet gods will NOT be happy!! :)

Well, I called Max's office and asked them to reboot, so maybe that will help. I think Max's Internet connection is slow today, so we may not have much improvement. It has been slow and frustrating all weekend.

John:

It's you. The Mudcat is perfect. That's primary orthodoctrine around these parts. :>)

Well it seems from here it is having some kind of problem! I can get only a partial listing of threads. At first I thought it was because I was new and hadn't figured out the system yet but I'm still having a problem.I am not ready to give up yet though. This is a strange, yet interesting way to pass time.

It seems to have bad days. I usually have trouble Monday mornings but I guessed Mudcat was just feeling like everyone else. It's always OK by the afternoon or the next day

I tried on all three servers (ancient what to do when Mudcat is down thread) and got only the threads, couldn't actually open or post to any of them...

It's all better now and still as lovely as ever, thank you Max.

Yes, Dorrie, I think Kit/Karoo are having problems coping with demand; it took 15 dial-ups for me to get online tonight!
