Welcome Daystar
Ignore the wrangling going on at the moment ( it happens from time to time). It's still a great place to be.
Regards KJ

If you're a Hranner, I wouldn't admit it just yet, unless you've got a thick skin... pun intended.

I love it when new folks join up. Welcome Daystar, we are better for you being here. Sure hope you post often, keep it in perspective and learn to use the tools. Start with the FAQ, and learn to look in the Digital Tradition Database before asking for a lyric. I know that sounds dry, but it will pay dividends and allow you to get the most out of this place. And it will allow you to help others as well. That's what we are all about.

Sure am glad you joined. Welcome.

All the best,

Mick

Hi Daystar.

Daystar - you cannot be a true Mudcatter without a cat or two. PM me and I will help you out. Do you prefer male or female? Color choice - anything but orange?
Welcome.

Welcome to the zoo...or perhaps that should be the cat house. The natives are mostly friendly, unless they mistake you for a troll. Cats aren't entirely necessary, although one walking along the keyboard makes digital communication interesting.

Welcome aboard, Daystar. Did you see the sign on your way in that says "You don't have to be mad to post here ..."? (Next to the one that says "Please don't ask for credit as a belly-laugh often offends"). You can also join CND from here: "Cats No Drawback".

Welcome,Daystar, you don't have to have a cat (the presence of cats on the Mudcat may be why I sneeze when I log on!)but an interest in food, bad humour, oh, and music, helps. Thankfully, you don't have to be musically skilled to get a lot from this site.

"Come in stranger, it's good to have you..." As for the cat stuff, pets of any kind are optional. I prefer to visit them. Mudcat is a great place for the childlike and the childish. Welcome to the fun! Fortunato.

Welcome, Daystar: Dyslexia is no bar to full participation here. We've got lots of lousy spellers, some of whom seem to have a lot to say--if we could figure out what it is. Speaking of which, folks, isn't rangling arguing, while wrangling is herding cattle?

I just wander in and here I am playing the pedagogue again.

Daystar; I am sort of new too. Was born and raised in Bournemouth. Now in Colorado. There's a great haunted pub in Plymouth just can't remember the name of it. Guess we could try all of 'em! I am LEJ's wife, known as Lion and am trying to figure out (with Kat's gracious help) how to get my own deal where I can not keep borrowing the old man's byline! Talking of cats (not Kat) I have two and they would probably require a thread of their own for all the stuff they do and the weird stuff they bring into the house! Let's not mention squirrel tails! Regards Lion
