The rifle is a custom replica of a kentucky long rifle, also .44 caliber. My father built the rifle for my birthday about 10 years ago. He builds four or five rifles and pistols over the course of a year. He says he never worked this hard before he retired. Of course, he usually says this from his recliner just before his afternoon nap.... |
