If I can't find the words I am going to have to haunt car boot sales to find a working machine. I want to sing it in memory of the gulls at Sidmouth and want to have it in good time as I am also working on a minature guided missile which seeks out the smell of ripe fish. Anne |

If you go to the Fish Jumping Out of the Banjo at the top where it says Support the Mudcat, and then follow the link to CDNow, you could purchase the CD and Mudcat would get small commission for it. NOT that you have to, I just like to let folks know they have that option. You could also get it from the DT's own Dick Greenhaus at www.camsco.com and you might check with Sandy Paton at www.folklegacy.com. Sheila died earlier this year after a long period of illness however her son Colin will be able to confirm I am sure. Not only that, but when going through some old papers I found that I had written it down and forgotten to include it in my song book. Possibly some time in the 1980s. The changing of the seasons has meant that the young squeakers running around looking for someone to feed them have gone from Sidmouth by the time of the folk festival in August - at least it has in recent years, but this year everything was so delayed by the snow in Spring time they might be there this year. |
