I will be at NEFA. Sounds like a great showcase!! Give us the details when the schedule is ready.

Hopefully there will be more trad at NERFA than previous years! The best trad seemed to be played in the lobby!

Maybe I ought to plan on coming, since I couldn't get myself together to drive 6 hours to camp out at a festival this year! I wonder if Bill Sables and Sam Pirt can stay until this happens. I would like to get Max to consider going, since he really does want to start playing some gigs. Why don'cha all bug him about it?

please come, Marymac! I'll PM the people you recommended. I'm still relatively new to Mudcat and am still meeting people. NERFA would be a great opportunity to get to know folks.

Well, I'm seriously thinking about it! I used to cater in Nov, and I had another kind of workshop that happened then, but none of that will be the case this Nov. Maybe my get-up-and-go hasn't gotten me to any festivals this year cause my bod is rebelling against sleeping on the ground, tramping over uneven surfaces, and baking in the sun. (Sometimes I have to do a little detective work to find out just WHY my GUAG won't cooperate!) But sleeping in a bed, even if I share one, and doing my wandering between workshops inside this cushy resort place should overcome those difficulties.

Bill and Sam should be gone back to the UK by then, but maybe if some of us have a good experience, we can get him to come next year. Maybe Sinsull would like to go. Max is around, and if things get any worse for his business, he could be unemployed by then! Not that I wish that on him!!!

So who would like to share a room? Shall we ask for one in the jammin' all night area? You can save a lot by getting a double, rather than a single, not as much by going up to a triple or a quad. PM me and I'll give you my phone #s, email, etc.
