30 Aug 01 - 08:07 PM (#538549) Subject: Virus - 'circam-a'? From: vindelis I was told today, about a virus called 'circam-a'. It arrived a local place of work, where it was dealt with; but not before it had started to dismantle the hard-drive of the computer that sent it. Apparently it is another virus that spreads by sending 'innocent' e-mails to everyone in the victim's address book.- The only giveaway is 'circam-a'. I have looked at the Symantec web site and the only thing I can find that comes close is the W32.Sircam.worm@mm. Have I been misinformed or is this something new? |

Lately I've discovered a few files supposedly ending in "mpg" but there are two additional hidden extensions on them following "mpg". Norton Anti Virus caught them all fortunately. |
