EuroSnug Thursdays 21:00 BST approx

Seems like a good idea. Next session next week at the above appointed time. All welcome, wherever you may be. If you're around and fancy a sing/play/recite/listen/chat do drop in.

Nothing to stop anyone opening up at other times, but to have at least one regular slot seems sensible.

For instructions on loading Paltalk, see earlier threads.

Password is dt, and you need adult groups box ticked.

Come-all-ye.

Alan

We'll try to be available for the fun next week.
We enjoyed the most recent session, although we were a bit too tired to take part much.
It will be nice to have a room open at a time when we can join in without having to stay awake until the US comes online. One in the morning is okay for an occasional late night, but it's too late for a regular visit, and much too late to play a banjo without annoying the neighbours.
I'll try to have an instrument available this thursday!
Quack!
GtD.

BST? Any relation to GMT?

Aloha,
Mark (on HST, which is 10 hours earlier than GMT)

Mark,

if (month > March) and (month < October) then BST := GMT + 1 hour;

The precise dates escape me but they are generally the last Saturday/Sunday in the months in question.

BST is British Summer Time - this is a fiction, as the British Summer usually lasts from 4.30am to 9.45pm on August 4th.

PalTalk is down at the moment, seems they've been having problems for a good few days. It suggests trying again in a few minutes, so fingers crossed.

Looks like being very approx! Sorry, forgot to insist on 24/7 coverage from PalTalk. Here's hoping.

Must insist on an appropriate SLA next time I pay may sub to them.

I'm afraid this rules me out for this week. Sod it!

I'll try again next Thursday.

I think the problem is that Paltalk are trying to get their streaming video service up. A bridge too far?

If at first you don't succeed - swear!

That's the trouble with Americocentric service providers, no consideration for those outside their time-zone!

LtS - PalTalk obviously decided that you had had enough entertainment for one night!!

Next week p'raps.
