or i guess she spells her name Carole... I heard this song once--on t.v. i think.. do not know if she recorded it...wonderful peace and/oranti-war song as i recall-- vaguely remember it, anyone have lyrics, or a source for this song?

Hi, Mike - that one's pretty obscure. It was on an album called "Simple Things," which some critics called 'the worst album of 1977. The album is out of print. I'd suggest you go to this Carole King Tribute Page and e-mail the Webmaster.

Carole King is FANTASIC!!! The CD 'Tapestry' is MUST HAVE in any record collection. The production the song writing everything is perfect with that record, of course it also has James Taylor on as well which I'm definatly not complaining about!

I hear she is singing tonight at the Democratic convention. This can be seen on CNN and C-Span TV. I hope she sings this song...which I finally found the lyrics for.

Just because it's recorded from an LP, doesn't mean it;s bad ;)

You get programs that take pops/crackles out and some have hardly any surface noise; I played Clannad Past Present with no pops/crackles or surface noice at all :)

It all depends if someone has looked after the lp, from dust hair etc etc :)
