This weekend it's Tenderden Folk Festival (in Kent), and it should be great.

I can't get there - but if anyone is, and they get along to Hamish Birchall's workshop about Public Entertainment licences, give us some feed back here please.

Tha is item 25 in the programme of events on this site.

OK, if you have any other dates for this year let me know I may take a mead stand for laughs and some off season work

This'll get bert missing it enough to come on back for a visit.

And so will this.

I'm off with my wife for a few days in Italy, which is why I'm not going. But I think I'd sooner be going to Tenderden...

Italy is wonderful. They don't mind in cafe's if your children sit on the tables, let alone try to stop you from singing.

In Venice they even allow singing from boats. In fact it is possibly part of the training?

It's Saturday morning and I am just leaving with my daughter. It's not raining...yet!

Fingers crossed for the Morris Men that it doesn't.(Like last year) I am looking forward to playing my whistle in one of the pub sessions.

Just got back from a cracking afternoon session and considering the amount of beer the morrismen were quaffing I now see why a)they are always dancing about a lot b)why they have lots of it in the carpark by the toilets c)as the locks were broken, bells to say this stall is in use

I would be interested to hear more, when you have digested them..........

I don't think however that you were meant to eat them.
