I´ve tried for this before - with no success. Its a cajun song and there are quite a few versions about. I´ve got a version by Beausoliel but my french just isnt up to deciphering the lyrics. Can anybody help??

There is a French Canadian singer , Lucille Starr, who recorded this song back in the late 50's or early 60's. She recorded this song in English and French. Sometimes we hear this song on a FM station in NB late at night. Hope this is some help to you. VF

Contact Lee Benoit. He is a Cajun gentleman! You can get his e-mail address on line. When I contacted him, he e-mailed me the French words to this song, the English words, and even wrote out the pronunciation of the French words phonetically. No one does this song better than Lee. It would be nice if you purchased the CD that it is on, but it was not a requirement. Good luck. Bill
