I was at the Dolphin in Robin Hood's Bay last Friday, and Bernard Wrigley is their next guest, if that's any help.

As a further thought - try posting to the Captain Cook thread. All those Shellbacks in Whitby must be able to get details of the club in Robin Hood's Bay!

Bernard Wrigley, I love him. Like Derek Brimstone, not a man to let political correctness get in the way of a good show. "Ballad of Knocking Nellie" is probably my all-time fave song.

Hope you get your info, and enjoy the gig.

It's too far for me to go from Maryland but I'm jealous. Enjoy-Lorraine

Cheers Bernard. Went to Bolton today and saw that you are in Panto at the Albert Halls.

Oh no I'm not. Oh yes you are. Oh no I'm not. Oh yes you are. Oh no I'm not. Oh yes you are.

He's behind you....!

Cheers - see you at Swinton soon?

If you happen to read this, Bernard, your website is extremely entertaining, and your Diary is a veritable treasure trove. Is it really twenty two years since you chauffeured Stan and Hilda on their second honeymoon? Don't time fly ................

just got a reply from Bernard to say he's the first guest at that club in the 15 years it's been going...a well deserved honour!
