28 Oct 01 - 01:26 PM (#581431) Subject: Koppangen From: Barbara Shaw I'm looking for the music notation for this piece, to do the fiddle accompaniment for a singer friend. It's on an album by Anne Sofie Von Otter (Swedish opera singer) called "Home for Christmas." The music is by Pererik Moraeus and the lyrics by Py Bachman. The tune is supposedly based on a Swedish folk melody. This arrangement is really quite nice, with guitar, violin, bass, cello, other sounds. The violin part is something I could attempt by ear, but I would love to find the arrangement written down to learn it as recorded here. Anyone ever heard of it? |
