Jim Ainsworth Lancashire songs wanted

I recently came across "Just a Cot in Ribble Valley" by Jim Ainsworth composed in 1931 and liked it. I know Jim composed several other songs and monologues concerning his home area around Blackburn, Lancashire, UK and would like to find out more about him and his songs. If anyone has any information or material available I would be grateful.

Tracked down a half remembered song from childhood recently, "Just a Cot in Ribble Valley" by Jim Ainsworth published in 1931, and in the process discovered that he produced other songs and monologues concerning the area around Blackburn, UK. Has anyone got any more information about Jim's compositions please? Thanks

Thanks for trying, sorry for multiple postings - couldn't get a response from Mudcat - wrongly assumed original posting hadn't worked. George
