Dates of Lancaster Maritime Festival? 2001

Anyone know the dates of next year's Lancaster Maritime Festival? Someone recommended the Shakespeare Inn to me, but was uncertain of the exact dates of the fest. If anyone has contact info for the Shakespeare, it would be much appreciated. I hear this is a great shanty fest. Thanks.

It was mooted that next years would be cancelled - I certainly hope it hasn't! If it is on as usual it will beover the Easter weekend which in 2002 is quite early - March 29/30/31. (I hope!)

The Lancaster council web site (www.lancaster.gov.uk) only goes up to Feb 2002 so it may be worth re-visiting that. But as councils are notoriously slow it may be better checking other sites.

Anyone have a contact number for Dave (Garner? Gardner?) who runs it?

Cheers

If you can't make Lancaster at Easter (And let's hope we all can!) then there is the Mersey and Hull Festivals in June and September respectively -I am sure at both these locations we can find you somewhere to stay Peter!

Peter if you are thinking of the Mersey festival next year as well as Lancaster (if Lancaster is on), then you are welcome to stay. I live across the Mersey in Wirral and from my house its a quick train ride over.

Now, as for Ickle's computer:

Thanks, all, for the quick replies, and Matthew, for the invitation. I love this site! I'll check in with the council site.
