Hi folks, after an enforced absence (operation) I have finally managed to get back to using my pc. What's been happening of late?

Noreen. I read your message, and checked out the link. Hope all goes well, will need new contact.

Jellybeam, no problems for that night.

Looks like Bill and I will get to Stony Stratford, albeit very early saturday morning probably-see you all there.

Richard, bloody excellent site for the Brussels meet. That's about it from me.

I'll browse for a while.

Cheers

Eric

So....I assume you're doing okay? A brief mention of how you're doing Eric and a prognosis?

Glad you're back!

Hi Spaw. The numbness in my fingers has lessened, the operation incision has healed, quite well-so far, but there is some splitting. I've had my stitches out today, so can start to use my hand again. Will need to do my exercises and regain strength in it,Can now hold a cup of coffee-just about! But-I think it's better than it was.

Cheers for asking

Eric

That's what I wanted to hear!!! Lots of physical therapy and that's a "pain" but it seems things may have gone your way! Thanks and good luck......They won't do you much good, but you have my best thoughts for a complete recovery.

Welcome back, Eric, and be good- keep the guitar in its case for a bit yet!

See you soon.

So what IS the sound of one hand clapping?

Good to know you are doing well. Keep exercising that hand and, remember, playing the guitar is exercise.

Eric, If you need to build up strength in that hand forget the bloody coffee cup and get a strong mug of Tea.
Cheers Bill

And Eric, while the wound is still not completely healed, steer clear of the sheep...you can pick up a nasty resistant infection from them (whoops... secret out!)

Glad to hear the hand is responding - but DON'T try over using it yet or you will suffer in the long run. I've some very nice oils to help healing...

Now your hand is fixed will you be able to play the guitar properly at last, after all these years of just twanging it.

Cobble.

Welcome home. Follow the physio plan they gave you to the letter and don't strum your instrument too hard or fast until complete recovery.
