03 Feb 02 - 05:04 PM (#641498) Subject: (UK) Faith, Folk & Anarchy Tour From: Nemesis (Acoustic music with Attitude) I went to see this last night on the 2nd night of the tour at the Footlights in West Chiltington Martyn Joseph, Steve Knightley, Tom Robinson - and it was one of the best gigs I've been to in years: passionate, vitality, resonance, wonderful songwriting - If you get a chance - go and see this tour!! They are playing: Derby (Tuesday), then Stafford, Beverley, oh, have a look at www.faithfolkanarchy.com - I came home completely revitalised about singing and folk and (nearly drove into a ditch because I was so ecstatic!! It is a very good album (Jon Harvison's treatment on Seasons in the sun is fantastic-done to an original translation not the soppy candian rewrite)Cllr |
